Contract of Employment

A contract of employmentEmployment contracts form an agreement between employer and employee. Terms can either be written or implied unwritten.

Employers are obliged by law to provide every employee with a written statement of the main terms of their employment within 2 months of starting their job. This must contain, at a minimum the statutory employment terms as dictated by the current legislation. Having a written contract between yourself and your employees could save costly legal action in the future.
